Personalized Hormone & Metabolic Care

A more comprehensive approach to hormone health.

Integrating hormone therapy with metabolic and lifestyle health.

Sridevi’s approach goes beyond symptom management alone. She considers metabolic, nutritional, sleep, stress, and lifestyle factors that may contribute to hormone-related symptoms.

This means your care plan is built around you — your labs, your history, your metabolic profile, and your goals — not a standard protocol handed to every patient. Whether the root cause is insulin resistance, chronic stress, thyroid-related concerns, or nutritional factors, Sridevi's approach identifies it and addresses it directly.

The goal is a personalized plan focused on long-term symptom improvement and overall health.

Ontario-Licensed Nurse Practitioner · Women’s Hormone & Metabolic Health Practitioner

  • Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (NP-PHC), Registered in Ontario

  • Over 15 years of clinical healthcare experience

  • 5+ years focused on hormone and metabolic health

I developed a focused interest in hormone health because I believe every patient deserves care that starts with curiosity — not assumptions. My approach combines evidence-based hormone therapy with functional medicine principles, so we’re not only managing symptoms, but also working to understand why you feel the way you do and how to support your long-term health.

As part of my approach, I evaluate the full metabolic picture alongside hormone levels — including nutrition, sleep quality, stress, lifestyle factors, insulin resistance, and overall wellness — because hormones do not exist in isolation, and neither do you.

I believe patients feel their best when care is personalized, evidence-based, and focused on long-term health rather than simply masking symptoms. SOMA was built to offer the kind of thoughtful, thorough, and individualized care that I’ve always believed people deserve — delivered virtually, on your schedule, from anywhere in Ontario.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

Is hormone therapy safe? I have heard conflicting information.

Concerns about HRT largely trace back to a 2002 study that has since been substantially revised and reinterpreted. Current evidence from major medical organizations supports HRT as safe and effective for most symptomatic women under 60. Sridevi takes a personalized approach — reviewing your full health history before recommending any protocol.

I'm in my 30s — is hormone care relevant for me?

Yes. Concerns such as PCOS, early perimenopause, thyroid-related symptoms, cycle changes, fatigue, mood changes, or weight shifts can begin in your 30s. If you're experiencing irregular cycles, fatigue, mood changes, or unexplained weight shifts, a hormone evaluation is a valuable starting point regardless of your age.

What is functional medicine and how is it different?

SOMA uses a comprehensive approach that considers symptoms, labs, medical history, metabolic health, nutrition, sleep, stress, and lifestyle factors. Sridevi’s approach integrates hormone therapy with metabolic and lifestyle health principles.

Do I need a referral to book?

No referral is needed. Nurse Practitioners in Ontario are licensed to assess, diagnose, and prescribe independently. You can book directly through the discovery call link above.

What does it cost? Is any of it covered?

The discovery call is free. Consultations are $250 per visit, occurring approximately every 3 months. Lab bloodwork is OHIP-covered. Many patients with employer benefits or a Health Spending Account (HSA) can use those funds to cover consultation fees — check with your plan provider.

How quickly will I hear back after inquiring?

We aim to respond promptly during business hours. If you submit a form or reach out during business hours, you'll hear from Sridevi's team within hours.

You deserve care that goes deeper than the surface.
